Braiding

Braiding is easy just follow these simple instructions.

Step 1 Parting hair
First of all take the ponytail I told you how to make and
part the hair into 2 equal sections using a center parting.

Step 2 Separate it
Now holding one of the 2 sections of hair you have made on either side of the head, separate that hair into 3 equal sections

Step 3 Criss Cross
Now holding one of the 2 sections of hair you have made on either side of the head, separate that hair into 3 equal sections
- one in your right hand
- one in your left
- with the remaining section in the center
Cross one section of hair over the center section and
then do the same with the other section, pulling
the hair as tightly as you want for the look you are going for.

Step 4 Continue & Fasten
Continue doing this, crossing one side then the other over what always becomes a new middle section, until the hair is braided.
Then fasten about 2 inches from ends with a covered elastic.




Tips
• Try doing this on wet hair or just spray the hair with
a little water to make the hair easier to work with.
• Once you've got that down try doing a braid without
the hair being in a ponytail first.

Hair Ties

When you want to tie back hair whether it be for a simple pony tail or a more complicated up-do, remember never use regular elastics. They are extremely hard on hair causing hair breakage. always use those "covered elastics" sometimes called "terry-cloth covered elastics" found in drug and department stores everywhere.
